Storytime returns on January 8th! This session of Storytime will continue through to the last week of April, ending on 4/25/2024.
Attend one of the Storytime sessions at each of our four library locations! We'll read books and provide crafts to go along with the stories. The following is the schedule:
Monday - Racine Library at 1:00
Tuesday - Eastern Library at 1:00
Wednesday - Pomeroy Library at 1:00
Thursday - Middleport Library at 1:00
All ages are welcome!
As a guide, preschool-aged children are a good fit for this program. School-readiness is a focus, with the following activities/skills developed:
-meeting peers/socializing
-sitting to listen to stories
-being guided by a "teacher" (someone other than a parent/caregiver)
-fine motor skills
-early literacy such as rhyming, songs, and letter recognition
